Director and K-9 Handler/Trainer for the volunteer organization, Heartland K-9 Search and
Rescue, Lorain County, Ohio. Training tracking/trailing, and cadaver dogs for SAR work in
Lorain County and Ohio. Past director and trainer for the K-9 contingent of Indiana Urban SAR.

6/91 to present
Dog handler/trainer in obedience and behavior problems for professional K-9 handlers and
private dog owners through Heartland  K-9 Services.

K-9 Trainer for Snohomish Co. Search and Rescue and Northwest Disaster Search Dogs. 
Trainer for K-9s and handlers for area, cadaver, and water search.  Participated in missing
person searches in and out of Washington State for the Snohomish County Sheriff's
Office, FBI,  and other agencies.

Teaching Experience

1985 to present:
Instructing K-9 seminars for law enforcement, dept. of corrections officers, and professional
rescue teams in cadaver, water, building, area, tracking search, including a school on K-9
alerts at the NASAR conference in Reno, NV, and a K-9 cadaver class at the Body Farm,
UT Knoxville. Other locations include Iowa, Minn., Ohio, Indiana and Missouri.

Presenter, NASAR (National Association for Search and Rescue) Annual Conferences for SAR
volunteers and management programs. Invited but declined 2005
